How I Plan to Show Up in 2025 🚀

As we step into 2025, I’m reflecting on “why” I started this blog and the platforms I contribute to. If you’ve seen my About Me page, you already know that my “why” is rooted in representation, mentorship, and belief – belief in the technology I work on and belief that by showing up, I can help others do the same.

But this post is about the “how.”

👉 How do I translate that purpose into something actionable?
👉 How do I consistently show up in a way that adds value to the communities I serve?
👉 How do I stay accountable to that commitment?

1. The Framework: Why → How → What

Simon Sinek popularized the concept of starting with “Why,” but the journey doesn’t stop there.

  • Why I do this: To represent, mentor, and grow.
  • How I do this: By sharing my learnings every week through blog posts, videos, GitHub repos, and talks.
  • What I produce: Tutorials, insights into tech, and reflections on my career path.

The “how” bridges the gap between intent and outcome. It’s the consistent, sometimes small, steps that build momentum over time.

2. My Commitment to Consistency

This year, I’m setting the goal to publish one new piece of content every week.

Here’s how I’m structuring it:

  • 📝 Blog Posts (like this one): Sharing frameworks, best practices, and personal reflections.
  • 🎥 YouTube Videos: Tutorials and insights into the latest tech I’m working with, from LocalLLM Development on my Mac, Microsoft Copilot to Azure and LLMs.
  • 🛠️ GitHub Repos: Releasing code snippets and project demos that align with my content themes.

The key is to not overthink it. If I can share even one meaningful insight, tool, or perspective – that week counts as a win.

3. The Tools that Make It Happen

Here are the tools and habits I’m leaning on to make weekly content manageable:

  • VS Code + GitHub – where I build and refine projects.
  • Canva – for designing quick visuals that accompany posts.
  • ChatGPT – for churn work, document and asset synthesis, drafts etc.
  • YouTube Studio – to streamline video uploads and editing.

The goal isn’t perfection – it’s about progress and showing up regularly.

4. Staying Accountable

I know that consistency thrives with accountability, so I’m sharing this plan with you. If you’re reading this, hold me to it. Drop by my LinkedIn or YouTube and call me out if I fall behind.

5. Wrapping It Up

This journey isn’t just about creating content – it’s about leaning into growth, sharing knowledge, and paving the way for others.

The “how” is showing up – every week. The “what” will follow.

Let’s make 2025 a year of consistent progress and meaningful impact.

👉 See you next week.

Cheers! Fabs
